Chapter one
Sometimes the smallest moments change the direction of our lives. A message became a meal, a meal became a conversation, and our connection grew organically into something beautiful. Looking back, every little step seems to have been quietly guiding us toward each other.
In January 2026, Rahim discovered Nadia’s Kitchen on Instagram while searching for authentic Pakistani food. Unable to cook himself, he placed his first order and found much more than a wonderful meal. What began with a shared love of food became the unexpected start of their story.
Nadia shared how teaching Grade 5 and cooking were not simply her work, but her passions. As Rahim’s orders became an almost weekly tradition, their conversations gradually moved beyond recipes and favourite dishes. They began learning about one another, and a quiet affection grew between them.
When Rahim realised their connection had become something meaningful, he asked Nadia whether she would consider him as her husband. Her answer was YES, with one important next step: he would need to speak with her family. Rahim approached them and formally asked for Nadia’s hand in marriage.
With the blessings of their families, Rahim and Nadia now prepare to begin married life together.
